Representatives of Kashirskaya GRES and Primorskaya TPP participate in “Step into Career” youth forum

The “Step into Career” forum is held under the auspices of the Kazan State Power Engineering University. This year, two other major universities in the capital of Tatarstan have contributed to organizing this event. Inter RAO – Electric Power Plants was represented by Kashirskaya GRES (located in the Moscow Region) and Kaliningrad-based Primorskaya TPP. For students, the forum is a chance to establish personal contacts with representatives of industrial enterprises, find out firsthand about the terms of employment and career development, practice writing a proper resume, learn about target programs and opportunities for internships at enterprises.

For employers, such events present an opportunity to pick out human resources they need. 52 largest Russian companies sent their representatives to the Job Fair organized within the framework of the forum. The competition for the best students was strong. Experience shows that the representative office of Inter RAO is very popular at such events. This is due to the fact that our company works with young people in a systematic, purposeful way.

In 2021, 335 students completed internships at the power plants of JSC Inter RAO – Electric Power Plants. This includes 118 workplaces created specifically for that purpose. This year, the same number of future power engineers will be able to gain professional experience at our facilities. The first interns arrived at the company’s branches in March. It is possible that the participants of the Kazan Job Fair will be among those who will learn the basics of the profession at Inter RAO facilities.
